Digital Citizens project

 

Digital Citizenship project

This project aims to develop digital citizenship awareness of students aged

10-14, encourage them to exhibit ethical and responsible behavior in the 

online environment, and ensure that they are informed about safe 

internet use.

Over the course of 4 months, students will work individually and 

collaboratively, using various digital 

tools including AI-generated visualizations and collaborative projects and

they do various digital activities to deepen their knowledge of digital 

citizenship.

 

AIMS

1. Teaching students the concept of digital citizenship and instilling 

awareness of responsibility in the online environment

2. ⁠To raise awareness on basic issues such as cyberbullying fake news, 

creating strong passwords protecting against  identity theft and online privacy

3. ⁠To develop students' creative skills using digital tools

4. ⁠To enable them to collaborate with their peers in different countries by 

increasing intercultural interaction and cooperation

5. ⁠To understand the importance of ethical and moral behavior in the 

digital world and to ensure thatparents are also aware of the risks 

their children  may encounter in the digital world by including them in 

the project.
